James A. Tramuto is Vice President Federal Governmental Relations for PG&E Corporation. Tramuto 58 has more than 32 years of experience in energy and governmental relations.
Tramuto joined the company in 1997 as Vice President of External Affairs for PG&E Gas Transmission-Texas. In 2000 he was named Vice President External Affairs West Region for PG&E National Energy Group. Tramuto was appointed to his current position in 2004.
Prior to joining PG&E Corporation Tramuto was President of TECO Gas Marketing and President and CEO of Polaris Pipeline. He also held a number executive legal and governmental affairs positions at United Gas Pipeline Company.
In addition to his duties at PG&E Corporation Tramuto has served on a number of energy committees in Texas and Arizona including several appointments by former Texas Governor George W. Bush and Texas Governor Rick Perry. Tramuto also is a member of Texas A&M University Business School Finance Advisory Board a member of Texas A&M University Business School Reliant Securities and Commodities Trading Center Advisory Board a board member of The Energy Council the Washington Performing Arts Society and a past president and current member of the Texas Utility Lawyers.
Tramuto earned a juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law and a bachelor's degree in management from Texas A&M University. He also attended the Executive Development Program at Harvard University. |
