James Farr is responsible for developing and managing natural resource consulting projects throughout Indiana. Mr. Farr has more than 18 years of experience in the fields of horticulture and natural resource management gained largely by working on state watershed and agricultural projects with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR). In this position, he conducted on-site inspections and coordinated comments for Indiana DNR Rule 5 and Rule 13 stormwater permits. He also routinely assisted the Indiana Department of Environmental Management by providing recommendations to mitigate confined feeding spills. Mr. Farr has managed numerous watershed improvement grants for state and local units of government, working extensively with numerous county soil and water conservation districts throughout Indiana. He has worked with lake associations and conservancy districts on project coordination and technical assistance for shoreline stabilization, bioengineering, and best management practices for land use. Mr. Farr is a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC). He graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate of Science degree in horticulture technology and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. |
