Dr. Wyngaarden has served as a director of Genaera Corporation since September 1996. Since 1996, Dr. Wyngaarden has been a partner in the Washington Advisory Group, a consulting firm. From 1995 to 1997, Dr. Wyngaarden was Senior Associate Dean, International Affairs, at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. From 1990 to 1994, Dr. Wyngaarden was Foreign Secretary of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and Institute of Medicine. From 1990 to 1994, Dr. Wyngaarden also served as Associate Dean at Duke University Medical School. From 1956 to 1994, Dr. Wyngaarden served as a Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical School. Dr. Wyngaarden served in several capacities, including as the Director of the National Institutes of Health from 1982 to 1989. Dr. Wyngaarden is also a director of Human Genome Sciences, Inc. and Hybridon, Inc. |
