Jim Ellis is responsible for identifying and managing new growth opportunities across the four pillars of data storage technology: magnetic, optical, flash and removable hard disk drives.
Previously, Jim was General Manager of Imation�s Global Product Strategy, which focused on identifying and developing new around the company�s core removable optical and magnetic media businesses.
Jim brings more than 25 years of experience and leadership in the data storage industry. He first joined 3M in 1978, and has since held a variety of technical and business management positions within the data storage businesses of Imation and 3M Company, including the management of tape, optical and flash businesses. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota. |
