Dr. Esch completed his education at Notre Dame and Northwestern University. His internship and residency were conducted at Cook County Hospital and Northwestern University respectfully. Later he served as an Orthopedic Surgeon in the United States Navy in Danang, Viet Nam. His affiliations include American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North American (Past President), and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (Program Committee, Shoulder and Elbow Section). He is the author of many books and publications. As chairman for 23 years of the internationally attended San Diego Shoulder Arthroscopy Course he has been directly responsible for the education of thousands of orthopedic surgeons in shoulder repair. |
