Mr. Penman founded DP&P in September 2000. He leads the firm�s delivery of investment banking and financial advisory services to manufacturing companies, with a focus on the automotive and transportation industries. Since forming DP&P, Mr. Penman has provided advisory services to over 25 manufacturing and automotive transactions and clients. Prior to forming DP&P, Mr. Penman was a Managing Director in the investment banking department of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. where he focused on the automotive industry. Mr. Penman joined Raymond James in 1999 effective with its acquisition of Roney & Co. Mr. Penman joined Roney in 1993, and was made General Partner in 1994. While at Roney, he held the positions of Managing Director of Corporate Finance, Co-Head of Corporate Finance, and head of the Manufacturing and Automotive group. Mr. Penman also served on the nine member Executive Committee of Roney from 1997 to 1998. Prior to joining Roney, he was a Senior Vice President at the investment banking firm of First of Michigan Corporation for eight years, and was employed at Touche Ross & Co. Mr. Penman graduated from Purdue University, holds a J.D. degree from the University of Detroit, and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. |
