Jim, a middle Georgia native, has called Savannah home since 1989 when he returned here from Gulfport, Mississippi. Jim is a retired Coast Guard Officer with more than 24 years active duty service. He enlisted in 1958 and worked his way through the enlisted ranks to become a "Mustang". He is the former Senior Vice President and COO of Intermarine. There he was directly accountable for all production and budgetary related issues for the navy's minehunter (MHC) program. He has also worked for Lockheed Shipbuilding as Superintendent of Outfitting for the US Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Program. He has extensive experience in the commercial, military and yacht construction and repair businesses. |
