Mr. Mead joined the company in November of 2004 and is responsible for treasury accounting and strategic planning. Previously he served as CFO of California-based Irvine Apartment Communities (IAC) where he managed strategic planning fund-raising and accounting activities while overseeing all property operations for the self-administered equity REIT. Prior to his tenure at IAC Mr. Mead was the vice president of corporate finance at The Irvine Company. There he played a key role in the century-old company's initial public offering and initiated structured and executed a number of significant deals for the REIT. Mr. Mead also served as vice president of the real estate investment banking group at JP Morgan. A graduate of Tulane University's engineering program Mr. Mead earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Virginia. |
