Mr. Rogers chaired Caraustar�s board of directors from July 2003 to July 2007. He chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Rogers has been a member of the company�s board since November 1993 and previously served on its Audit Committee and Compensation and Employee Benefits Committee, and the Executive Committee. Since April 1993, he has served as President of SCI Investors Inc., a private equity investment firm. From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Rogers served as Chair of Custom Papers Group, Inc., a paper manufacturing company. From 1991 to 1993, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Specialty Coatings International, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty paper and film products. Prior to that time, Mr. Rogers was Senior Vice President, Group Executive of James River Corporation, a paper and packaging manufacturer. Mr. Rogers also serves as a director of Wellman, Inc., Owens & Minor, Inc. and New Market Corporation and is Vice President of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Military Institute. |
