Jim Stone is the founder and a Managing Director of Stone Partners, Inc. He is responsible for strategic partner relationships, new business development and core services expansion. He also serves as account executive for many of the firm s clients. Stone Partners is the successor firm to J. E. Stone & Associates, which was originally founded in 1987 as a full service actuarial, benefit and compensation firm. Following several expansions, the company now provides a full range of HR consulting and outsourcing services. Among Mr. Stone s partnership responsibilities, he oversees consulting and administrative services coordination for the Ceridian strategic alliance. He is an account executive for numerous oil and gas service companies, utilizing the full scale of Stone Partners services platform to bring innovative and practical solutions to client business needs. Previously, Mr. Stone served in the NYC corporate offices of Buck Consultants as the National Director of the health and welfare practice. He also established Buck s Houston office and oversaw its management for several years. Prior to his association with Buck, Mr. Stone held several senior management positions with the international brokerage firm, Reed Stenhouse, including being named President of its U.S. employee benefits division. Mr. Stone is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and attended Duke University s Fuqua School of Business. He is based in the Austin, Texas office.
