James E. Braman has more than 20 years experience practicing law in the Capital Region. His practice includes counseling home builders, developers and lending institutions in commercial and residential real estate transactions, including matters related to real estate law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Braman also has extensive experience in association law, having represented realtors at the state and local levels, counseling on business and not-for-profit organizational and governance matters, agency law, antitrust law, contract law, fair housing law, and in developing legislation. Mr. Braman represents real estate licensees in disciplinary proceedings before the New York State Department of State and has lectured widely on the subject of real estate brokerage. Mr. Braman regularly presents continuing education courses for attorneys and real estate licensees to meet their licensing requirements.
Among Mr. Braman�s clients are credit unions and county boards and associations of realtors.
Mr. Braman is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association. |
