James Palmer is a partner in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. He is the supervising partner of the firm's litigation department and the firm's General Counsel. He has handled all types of litigation in both state and federal courts including wrongful termination, discrimination, whistle blower, general business, franchise disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, workers compensation audits, real estate, creditor representation, construction, and lender liability. He has extensive litigation experience with an emphasis on jury trials. Mr. Palmer has consulted with major corporations concerning methods of improving management and is also a former Business Law and Real Estate instructor at Coastline Community College. He is a frequent contributor to the firm's publications. Representative Matters Attained a substantial jury verdict for construction client in breach of contract suit. Successfully opposed a lawsuit for specific performance for the property owner. Attained a judgement against employee who embezzled $2.5 million from employer.
