James Giordano is president and chief executive officer of CareTech Solutions, Inc., a recognized leader in providing customized, flexible healthcare information technology and health information management solutions.
Under Jim's leadership as president and chief executive officer, CareTech has expanded its offerings; launching several new service lines to better serve its clients while lowering overall healthcare costs. With the addition of Health Information Management services, Revenue Cycle services, WebCare services and CableCare structured cabling services, CareTech's offerings now span the entire patent data lifecycle.
Through Jim's leadership and vision, CareTech has been recognized several times as a top 36 healthcare information technology firm by revenue and top workplace that values such ideals as mutual trust and respect, fairness, teamwork, tolerance and commitment to family and community - all of which CareTech believes provides added value to its clients.
Previously, Jim served as vice-president and chief financial officer of CareTech Solutions, from 1999-2002. During that time, he was instrumental in growing the company from $54 million to over $100 million in annual revenue. Under his leadership as CFO, CareTech also strengthened existing client relationships, successfully renewing three of its largest contracts.
Jim has over 20 years of business and financial management experience. Before joining CareTech Solutions, he spent 13 years with Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS), where he was responsible for the financial aspects of the EDS spin-off from General Motors as well as controller for the EDS Saturn account at GM. Prior to that, he held several management and leadership positions with Wang Laboratories and Unisys.
Jim holds an MBA from the University of Detroit-Mercy and a bachelor of science degree in finance and managerial economics from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Jim is active in business, education and civic affairs. He currently serves on the Michigan Public Health Institute board of directors as well as the University of Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Society board, where he also served as chairman. Jim is a member of the Financial Executive International Organization. |
