James J. Mayer, of counsel at the law firm of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree with honors from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. In 1994 he retired from The Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company as Vice President and General Counsel and had served on the Company's Executive Planning Committee. He has extensive experience on gas and electric utility matters, especially representation before the utility regulatory commissions in Ohio and Kentucky. Mr. Mayer is admitted to practice law in the States of Ohio and Kentucky. |
