James Meyer, CPC is President of the Rhode Island division of Management Search, Inc.



Jim joined the firm in late 1986 as the first executive hired for the new division, and has been a partner since 1991. Over the years, he has conducted searches in a variety of industries and disciplines, making him a true generalist.



Some recent areas of work include the "vertical" markets of High Technology Manufacturing. His application of MSI's Search Process has resulted in many successful partnerings with such industry leaders as Thermo Electron, International Rectifier, Ingersoll-Rand, Emerson and Dentsply. Jim believes that the relationships built between professionals are the key to our success, and he supports that belief by talking daily with executive level players across the nation. He balances his time between networking and leading his team of consultants, closely overseeing their success.



Prior to MSI, Jim had been Food Service Director at Women and Infant's Hospital for 2 � years; and previous to that spent 11 � years in Crisis Intervention for the Newport Community Mental Health Center .



Jim graduated from Long Beach City College with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and then earned an undergraduate degree in Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University .



Outside of the office Jim is an avid reader, golfer, gardener and lover of black Labradors . He and his wife Judy have been married for the past 24 years.
