James M. Girman is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Insurance Coverage Litigation, Food and Beverage Industry Litigation, and Product Liability Law, with a particular emphasis in Transportation Litigation. He has litigated cases in state and federal court representing individuals and entities in cases involving commercial motor vehicles, premises liability, wrongful death, product liability, personal injury, and breach of contract. Mr. Girman is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Girman served as a Detective with the District Attorney of Allegheny County. He also has a master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Girman graduated from Grove City College in 1981 with a B.S. in Political Science. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1990. Mr. Girman has written about products liability law in the Duquesne Law Review. |
