Jim Quinn is General Counsel and Secretary for Carestream Health, Inc., the standalone company that resulted from the sale of Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group to Onex Corporation, Toronto, Canada, in May 2007.
Quinn is responsible for Carestream Health's worldwide legal function, as well as its corporate security organization.
Formerly, Quinn spent 20 years in Kodak's Legal Department, serving at various times as chief counsel for Kodak's film, digital, document imaging, graphics, motion picture film and professional businesses. During this period, he spent approximately eight years as Director of the Marketing, Antitrust, Trademark and Litigation Legal Staff, the organization responsible for providing general legal support to Kodak's worldwide business units and to its domestic and Canadian subsidiaries. He also spent several years as Kodak's Director of General Litigation, and served from 2002 to 2004 as Kodak's Corporate Secretary.
Quinn was appointed General Counsel of Kodak Health Group in October 2006. His 12 years of litigation practice prior to joining Kodak included service as a prosecutor and in the litigation department of Harris Beach LLP.
