Mr. Denny has served as Chairman of Navicure�s Board of Directors since the company�s founding in 2000. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gilead Sciences, Inc., and is a director of GATX Corporation. Additionally, Mr. Denny is a member of the advisory boards for several privately-held fund management companies.
Prior to his retirement in 1995, Mr. Denny served as Vice-Chair and Chief Financial Officer of Sears, Roebuck, and Company. Other executive positions include: Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Planning Officer of G.D. Searle & Co.; Chairman of Pearle Health Services, Inc., a Searle-affiliated publicly-held company; and Treasurer, The Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.. Prior directorships include: Astra AB; ChoicePoint, Inc.; The Principal Financial Group; The Allstate Corporation; General Binding Corporation; and General Instruments Incorporated. Mr. Denny began his career as Associate Counsel, Dewey Ballantine Bushly Palmer and Wood, where he practiced law in New York and Paris . |
