James P. Carney, CPA, CVA, PFS, is a partner with Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP. Mr. Carney received a BS degree in business administration, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts. He also holds the Personal Financial Specialist designation issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Certified Valuation Analyst designation issued by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has over 25 years of public accounting experience and concentrates in the areas of estates and trusts and business valuations, as well as general accounting and tax matters. Mr. Carney is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he has served on or chaired several committees. He is also a past president of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Worcester County. Mr. Carney is treasurer of Friendly House, Inc. and serves on boards or committees of the American Heart Association and Habitat for Humanity. |
