James (Jim) P. Gross has served as Chief Financial Officer of NetBank, Inc. since October 2006. He is responsible for all financial operations and reporting for NetBank, Inc. Previously, Gross served as the company's Corporate Controller and as Director of Financial Planning and Reporting for four years.
Gross has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served as Director of Financial Planning for Resource Bancshares Mortgage Group, Inc. Prior to joining RBMG, he held executive management positions with several mortgage banking companies, including serving as CFO of IndyMac and J. I. Kislak Group. Gross began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young
Gross earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master's in business administration from Rutgers University. He is active in the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, having served in the past as Chairman of the Financial Management Committee, the Accounting Standards Subcommittee, and the Audit and Internal Controls Subcommittee |
