Jim serves as Director of Audit Services in the Firm's Commercial Industries group. With over thirty years of experience, Jim serves as the engagement partner providing audit, tax planning and advisory services to businesses in numerous industries including investment advisors, wholesalers, software, real estate, professional service firms, investment funds, food processors, biotechnology, research and development, graphic arts, pharmaceutical, medical instrument and other manufacturing businesses. Jim services both privately-held and publicly-traded clients. His services to public companies have spanned the businesses lifecycle to include initial public offerings and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 attestations. Jim also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and has provided advisory services to his closely-held businesses in areas such as succession planning and profitability analysis and planning. Jim speaks at seminars on various accounting and tax topics, and his articles have been published in business magazines and trade journals.
