James P. Loftus consults for Noel-Levitz with institutions on areas related to student marketing and recruitment at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He is currently vice president for enrollment management and student services at St. Ambrose University (IA). Dr. Loftus has experience with the small-college environment, focusing specifically on student recruitment, campus organization, and institutional development. He offers 15 years of higher education experience in leadership, strategic planning, marketing, admissions, orientation, financial aid, academic program development, non-traditional and accelerated programs.
From his post at St. Ambrose University, he develops and executes comprehensive recruitment and financial aid strategies to meet the university's enrollment goals.In his six years as vice president at St. Ambrose, full-time enrollment has grown by more than 50 percent with total college enrollment exceeding 3,500 students.
Associations and education: Dr. Loftus is a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) as well as the National Association of Student Personnel (NASPA) while serving on several local and regional boards.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa as well as an M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Notre Dame (IN). |
