James Bray has devoted his career to helping school districts implement technology-based education, assessment and administrative systems and is an acknowledged leader in education today. He currently sits on the blue ribbon advisory panel of the Council of Great City Schools, a coalition of 57 of the nation's largest urban public school systems.
Most recently, Mr. Bray served as vice president of business development for Pearson Education technologies and chairman of NCS Pearson's corporate marketing committee. In 13 years at NCS Pearson, Bray held a variety of executive positions related to the company's education, assessment, and testing products. Prior to joining NCS, he spent more than 20 years at IBM/Science Research Associates in Chicago, completing his IBM service as vice president of education assessment and testing.
Bray is a former member of the St. Paul (Minn.) School District Foundation. He holds a degree in marketing from Northwestern University and has attended numerous IBM management programs.
