James R. Miller is a shareholder and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Toxic Tort Law, Medical Malpractice, and the Food and Beverage Industry. Mr. Miller is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the following courts: Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the State Courts of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, the State Courts of West Virginia, Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and United States District Court for the Eastern Division of Michigan. He is also a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Defense Research Institute, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, and Product Liability Advisory Council. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Miller served for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Crumlish, Jr., President Judge of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Miller graduated from New York University in 1969 with a B.A. in History. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1972 where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Miller has been elected to the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and the American College of Trial Lawyers.
