James R. Raskin is Vice President of Business Development of The Black & Decker Corporation. Mr. Raskin leads the Corporation's efforts in all phases of acquisitions and divestitures supporting its strategic growth objectives. In addition, he is responsible for alliance development and new market analysis. He was named to this position in March 2004 and was elected a Vice President of the Corporation in July 2006.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Raskin has held a series of senior level positions at Black & Decker including general management, brand marketing, strategic planning, new business development, licensing, retail operations, and product engineering. Mr. Raskin joined Black & Decker as a Senior Engineer in February 1988 from The North American Philips Corporation, a global manufacturer of consumer durables and electronics.
Mr. Raskin earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. |
