Jim Nestor is an expert in the field of medical outcome studies and the economic principles of secondary prevention measures for coronary artery disease (CAD). From 1993 to 1996, he served as the principal scientific advisor for clinical investigation, economic analysis, and outcome studies for Raytel Cardiac Services, Inc. Dr. Nestor has led efforts resulting in published reports on topics of non-invasive cardiology, pacemaker follow-up, trans-telephonic cardiac rehabilitation, and cardiac event monitoring. He has recently completed a timely report on cost-effectiveness of post-cardiac rehabilitation and its relationship to secondary prevention strategy. Dr. Nestor is responsible for the development of Cardium Health�s proprietary software technology DM TrackSM. Prior to 1993, he served as Director of Research and Development for the Critical Care Division of C.R. Bard, where he had responsibility for an organization charged with the development of disposable cardiovascular products. |
