Mr. Jackson is an audit and accounting principal in the Atlanta office of Joseph Decosimo and Company, LLC. He has in excess of twenty years experience in both public accounting and private industry. He joined the firm in 1991 and was admitted as a principal in 1998. Previously, he directed the internal audit department of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and worked as an audit manager with an international accounting firm.
Mr. Jackson has been responsible for managing client audit and accounting engagements. His industry experience includes real estate, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, leasing, restaurants, and financial services. As an audit principal, Mr. Jackson is responsible for supervising the accounting personnel completing engagements and communicating with senior client personnel. In addition, Mr. Jackson has experience in performing financial due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
The University of Georgia graduate received his CPA certificate in 1987 and is licensed to practice in Georgia and Tennessee. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs. During the period from 1992 to 1996, he served on the board of directors of the Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Mr. Jackson is a board member and past president of the Georgia Chapter of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals Association and in 2002 he received the Chapter�s Meritorious Service Award. |
