Mr. Kahan was appointed Senior Vice President-Corporate Development and became an officer of SBC in 1992. He is responsible for all domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and venture capital investments for SBC Communications Inc. and its subsidiaries. Mr. Kahan serves on the Business Advisory Board for the University of Texas in San Antonio. He also serves on the board for the Free Trade Alliance, Baptist Health System Foundation, America Swiss Foundation, and AMDOCS.
In addition, Mr. Kahan serves on the board of directors of a number of SBC subsidiaries, including SBC Wireless, Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages, Southwestern Bell Communications Services, SBC Technology Resources, Southwestern Bell International Development and SBC International. |
