Mr. Scibetta is Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Cambridge, Massachussetts pharmaceutical company founded by world leaders in Network Biology from Harvard and MIT. Since 1998, Mr. Scibetta has served on Merrimack's Board of Director and from 1998 to 2001 was a member of the audit committee.
Mr. Scibetta brings to Labopharm extensive healthcare industry experience in the United States focused on strategy development, capital raising and mergers/acquisitions with public and private companies. Prior to joining Merrimack in a management position, Mr. Scibetta was a senior investment banker in New York City for five years at the healthcare investment banking boutique Shattuck Hammond Partners, where he ran the firm's Life Sciences practice. Prior to that, he was a senior investment banker and spent eight years in the New York office of PaineWebber's Healthcare Finance Group. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Wake Forest University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan. |
