With over 35 years of management and engineering experience in electronics systems and avionics, Mr. Dunn joined L-3 Communications in June, 2000 as president of L-3's Link Simulation & Training division. In this role, he was responsible for managing and growing Link's worldwide operations, with a focus on the development and delivery of military training systems and services. Prior to joining L-3, Mr. Dunn served as president of Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems. Preceding his appointment there, Mr. Dunn served as president of Lockheed Martin Defense Systems Group and Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems.
He began his career in 1966 at the Singer Company, Kearfott Division, where he held various systems engineering positions leading to management positions. Mr. Dunn later joined Loral in 1978 as engineering director for the ALR56C Radar Warning Receiver program. While at Loral, he was named senior vice president of Engineering and senior vice president of Program Management. In 1990, he became president of Loral Fairchild Systems and continued as president of Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems when Loral Corporation merged with Lockheed Martin. He then joined Lockheed Martin's NESS group where he served as president of the NESS Eagan, Akron and Archibald divisions. |
