James W. Dawson, Jr. concentrates his practice on state and federal tax controversy. He received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Frostburg State University and a J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Dawson was formerly the Assistant Director, Legal, for the Comptroller of Maryland. Mr. Dawson is a frequent speaker on state and local tax matters and is currently the Chair of the Tax Section of the Maryland State Bar Association.
