From July 2002 until July 2005 Mr. Dorst was the VP of Finance and Operations for VerdiSoft Corporation, an international developmental software company recently acquired by Yahoo, Inc. VerdiSoft developed sophisticated infrastructure software for the delivery of personal data to mobile and networked devices. Prior to this Jim was the Chief Financial Officer - SVP of Finance and Administration at SeeCommerce, a web-based supply chain performance management software company. Before that Mr. Dorst was the COO/CFO of Omnis Technology Corp (NASDAQ Small Cap: OMNS) where he managed all North American personnel, assisted in repositioning the flagship product Omnis Studio into the Linux market space and ultimately negotiated the merger of Omnis and Pick Systems, Inc. of Irvine, California (now NASDAQ Small Cap: RDTA). From early 1995 through the end of 1999, Jim was the Chief Financial Officer and SVP of Information Technology at Savoir Technology Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SVTG) where he was a part of a team that took an unprofitable semiconductor distributor with $120 million in annual revenue to a profitable mid-range computer systems distributor and specialty integrator with annual revenue of $740 million. Highlights include the acquisition of 12 related businesses and the completion of a successful $30 million Secondary Offering. Jim was also the Chief Financial officer of Drypers Corporation from 1986 through 1993. In 1993, Drypers was listed as Inc. Magazine's #1 growth company.
Mr. Dorst practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and holds an MS in Accounting and BS in finance from the University of Oregon. |
