James Blaisdell is an embedded system device management and enterprise communications expert. Recently, James held the role of Principal Engineer of the handheld group Kenamea, an enterprise communication firm specializing in reliable, secure communications. Prior to Kenamea, James was founder and chief technology officer at RapidLogic, Inc, a company leading in device management for embedded systems. James conceived, developed and led several key RapidLogic products. These products are RapidControl Backplane (the first unified object management database), RapidControl for Web (web-based management system), RapidControl for CLI (Cisco Craft Interface), and MIBway (Legacy SNMP interface). RapidLogic ranked the fifth fastest growing organization in the San Francisco Bay Area and was acquired by WindRiver Systems in the fall of 2000.At WindRiver, James led the architecture and design for WindManage, a 2002 InterOp best-of-show finalist. James also consulted with Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems, RedBack Networks, Tut Systems, PairGain, Brocade Communications, and other leading network and telecom companies on their embedded systems offerings |
