Jim Croft brings over 30 years experience in the fields of acoustics and audio to the American Technology Corporation team. As the founder and President of Definitive Audio, one of the most successful high-end audio stores in North America, Mr. Croft gained strong business building and marketing expertise. Today, he still serves as Chairman of Definitive Audio�s Board. His extensive research in psycho-acoustics, electro-acoustics, and power electronics have led to 20 U.S. patents and more than a dozen pending. Mr. Croft has developed audio and audio-video products for major companies, including Harman-JBL, Philips, and Toshiba. He also worked with Paccar, NCT, and Ford Motor Company on advanced technologies such as audio noise cancellation. Before joining American Technology Corporation, he was an officer at Carver Corporation. Mr. Croft has also written a patent review column for an industry technical journal for over 10 years. He studied education, anthropology, and electro-acoustics at Evergreen State College. |
