James Cronan, M.D., a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, has received numerous honors over his distinguished career, including the Physician's Recognition Award from the American Medical Association. He has lectured for over twenty years at both national and regional professional conferences, including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Georgia Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Cronan has also produced visual teaching materials and published numerous articles. Dr. Cronan is licensed to practice medicine in each state with a Bosley surgical office. After graduating with a B.S. from North Georgia College in 1971, he attended the Medical College of Georgia, where he received his D.M.D. in 1977 and M.D. in 1985. He completed residencies in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia (1978-1981), General Surgery at the Memorial Medical Center in Savannah (1985-1988), and Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia (1989-1991). Dr. Cronan served on the medical faculty of Creighton University in Omaha for ten years, teaching graduate medical education. He has also served as Chief of Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the University Medical Center. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In 2001, Dr. Cronan elected to practice hair restoration exclusively and affiliated with Bosley. He received training from founder and hair transplant pioneer L. Lee Bosley, M.D. and from other experienced M.D.s at Bosley. |
