Mr. deVenny is currently Chairman and CEO of Dataside, LLC, one of the leading outsourced data center and network services providers in the U.S. As co-founder, Mr. deVenny, is credited with growing the company both organically and through acquisitions, most recently with the strategic acquisition of COMDEPOT, a communications and technology services company providing integrated and managed multi-carrier, network, security and technology services. Previously, Mr. deVenny spent 15 years in the design and development of mission critical data centers and telecommunications sites as a partner in his company Computex Support Service. Prior to co-founding Computex he spent five years as Vice President of Marketing and Sales with International Power Machines (IPM), a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supply systems supporting such customers as the NY Stock Exchange and NASA. From 1970 to 1983, Mr. deVenny held numerous sales and marketing positions with Xerox Corporation, including Regional General Manager for the Midwest, National Sales Planning Manager, Director of Sales Operations, and Manager of Industry Marketing and Application Marketing. Mr. deVenny has a B.S. in Journalism & Communications with a minor in Marketing from the University of Florida. He has served on the board for several start-ups in addition to the board of IPM, a public company. He is active in the local community; serving on the board for the Dallas Futures Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting public education in Dallas, as Chairman of Gleneagles Country Club, and as a Guardian Angel for the Collin County Children�s Advocacy Center for 8 years. He is married and has one son. |
