Mr. Gould has more than 25 years of experience in development, marketing and negotiation in the areas of investment capital, banking, real estate, sports and entertainment. He is the Managing General Partner of The Walnut Group, a private equity fund based in Cincinnati, Ohio and New York City. Mr. Gould oversees various portfolio companies in the fund including Build-A-Bear Workshop, LeGourmet Chef, Work 'n Gear, Simon Delivers and Ameristop.
Mr. Gould is also the Managing Partner of Management One, a sports management firm he founded that has represented professional athletes in the NFL and NBA, including Terry Glenn, Peter Warrick, John Browning, Damien Robinson, Sue Bird, and the late Korey Stringer. Mr. Gould has also been an owner of a number of minor league baseball and hockey teams. Mr. Gould is also a partner in Avondale Management Group, and represents Evander Holyfield, Four Time Heavyweight Champion of the World.
In addition, Mr. Gould has produced, distributed, and packaged numerous motion pictures, television and music events and was a founder and partner in Triton Pictures. Mr. Gould was a founding member of the United States Football League, and became President of the New Jersey Generals upon selling the team to Donald Trump. Mr. Gould has also developed several real estate projects throughout Cincinnati, Ohio and Kentucky.
Mr. Gould graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in History and an Education Certificate. He has served on numerous boards including Prevent Child Abuse America, Camp BrightLight in partnership with the YMCA, and The Cincinnati Ballet. Mr. Gould is active in sports and has coached children in both soccer and football for many years. He has two children, Dylan and Lucas, and resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. |
