James Lang is CERA President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for CERA's daily operations and strategic growth. Mr. Lang�s professional experience spans the worldwide energy, telecom, transportation, high tech, defense, finance, and automotive industries. His energy work has covered upstream, midstream, chemicals, liquefied natural gas, gas-to-liquids, and power analyses. His consulting work has included product and asset strategy, business unit and portfolio strategy, and major corporate transformations to drive an organizational focus on shareholder value.Previously he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Strategic Decisions Group (SDG), where he specialized in strategy development, capital investment decision-making, and organizational capability development. He founded the firm's Boston and Houston offices and managed projects around the world, leading SDG�s expansion through different business environments. Before joining SDG, he held planning and engineering positions at Analog Devices, Data General Corporation, and AT&T. He currently guest lectures at the Tuck School at Dartmouth.Mr. Lang holds a BS summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA with Distinction from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, where he was named an Edward Tuck Scholar. |
