James Merrill is Regional Director of First Industrial Realty Trust�s Utah portfolio. He oversees acquisitions, dispositions, developments, build-to-suits, asset management and lease negotiations. Mr. Merrill has over 12 years of extensive real estate experience consisting of industrial facility leasing, building and land sales, tenant representation, build-to-suit development, investment property sales, and consulting. He has successfully completed more than 250 assignments with aggregate square footage exceeding 2 million square feet. Mr. Merrill began his career with The Enterprise in 1991. In 1998, he was an initial member of NAI Utah Commercial Real Estate. Over the next several years, Mr. Merrill built a strong following of owners and users in the Salt Lake Industrial market. Over a four year streak, Mr. Merrill, was recognized for completing the highest number of transactions by a broker in his firm. Mr. Merrill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Utah, a salespersons license from the Utah State Real Estate Commission and is a CCIM candidate. He is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). |
