Mr. James B. Mzyk is a director with LECG. He is a certified public accountant with significant experience in the insurance, banking and securities industries. Mr. Mzyk has over 25 years experience with public accounting and consulting firms. Mr. Mzyk has provided expert testimony involving financial matters including damage analysis related to various business transactions as well as appropriate accounting treatment. He has assisted in the review and analysis of documentation related to alleged claims against officers and directors and other third parties.
Mr. Mzyk has assisted regulators with liquidations, receiverships, claims processing and other management and administrative functions. He has significant experience related to the regulation of insurance companies and the analysis of investments, reinsurance contracts and reserves. He has also performed various consulting projects which include business restructuring, portfolio reviews, initial corporate offerings and internal control system reviews.
Mr. Mzyk received his bachelor of arts degree in business administration with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs and the International Association of Insurance Receivers. |
