As a Managing Director of Bain Capital Ventures, the Boston-based venture capital arm of Bain Capital, LLC, a global private equity firm with over $14 billion of assets under management, Nahirny focuses on seed and first and second institutional round investments in software, technology-driven business services, and information companies. Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Nahirny was a partner at McKinsey & Company, the global management consulting firm. At McKinsey, he worked closely with the senior management and boards of his clients on a broad range of strategic and operations issues, and was a founder and leader of the firm's Service Operations Practice. He previously worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group in the investment bank First Boston in both New York and Tokyo. Nahirny received an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was named a Baker Scholar, and a BA magna cum laude from Yale University. |
