Jim Newkirk brings 18 years of experience with public and private companies in business planning and managing strategic transactions to TeraCloud, where he guides the financial operations, financing and planning activities. Prior to joining TeraCloud, he worked on several Seattle-area incubator projects with local startups, including the formation of NearMe Inc. (acquired by M|Forma), the financing of Nimble Technology Inc., and the merger of AdRelevance Inc. with Media Metrix. Jim also served as the Director of Finance and Corporate Controller at CareWise, Inc., a provider of technology services and software to managed-care organizations. Before CareWise, he spent several years with The Hillhaven Corporation, where he held several positions in financial reporting, planning, and strategic transactions. Jim began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick. Jim holds a B.A. of Business Administration - Accounting from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, WA
