James Orme is an associate in the Global Project Finance Department based in the New York office.
James' most recent finance experience includes representing the commercial banks in connection with the financing of the US$6.1 billion Reliance oil refinery and polypropylene plant in Jamnagar, India, the project company on the acquisition and expansion of the Hidd IWPP project in Bahrain and the lenders on the proposed financing of the U.K. airport operator, BAA and the lender group on the Lumwana copper mining project in Zambia.
He is currently advising the finance parties on the Marafiq IWPP in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabai, the lenders in the expansion of the Shuaibah-3 IWPP in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a sponsor consortium in their bid for a sewage treatment plant in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
He has also previously represented the lenders in the US$ 1.011 billion financing of an oil refinery in Bahrain, advised the finance parties in the US$ 550 million financing of a steel production plant in Qatar. In addition, he has experience in PPP/PFI infrastructure deals in the UK and Europe.
James is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and is also a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. |
