James Outland is a founding partner of New Capital Partners. James has over 18 years of private equity investment, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and sales and marketing leadership experience in both entrepreneurial business ventures and well-established corporations. James began his career developing an entrepreneurial business within ProServ, Inc., a leader in the sports marketing industry subsequently acquired by SFX and later Clear Channel. He opened a West Coast office and later led the business development for ProServ athletes and properties in the Southeast. James has also served in various key roles as an Officer for Complete Health Services and United Health Group responsible for sales and business development and as a principal at Momentum Health Services where he specialized in mergers & acquisitions. James has led numerous private equity investments and currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Prism Pointe Technologies in Atlanta, GA, Senior Whole Health in Boston, MA and Mobile Storage in Birmingham, AL. James also serves on the Boards of Comlet Technologies, Bridgeville Trailers and Awarix. In addition, James served as the CEO of Senior Whole Health during its first year of operations. James has been active in civic and charitable organizations having been involved with Junior Achievement, The Leukemia Society, the Birmingham Museum of Arts, and the Birmingham Venture Club where he recently served as 2005 president. He graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.F.A. in Advertising. |
