Mr. Jim Pritchett has over 30 years of Information Technology experience, drawn largely from the US Army and US Court System. Recently he was the Executive Director for a regional law enforcement and criminal justice federation project. This project linked 7000+ users to over 35 different databases and record systems through a central web portal that controlled access to all of the systems. It was named as the best Government IT project of 2003 by Public CIO Magazine. Jim has held the position of Technical Director and Chief of Information Integration with the US Army Safety Program. He has been an integral part of the strategic development of an information sharing initiative at the national level and led the development of a program that set functional and performance standards for the state court system nationwide. This program served as a model for national standards development programs under the Department of Justice. He has worked nationally to develop and define Services Oriented Architecture as a standard and as a blueprint for state and local information systems development and to put those systems into place. While Vice President of the National Center for State Courts, he led the technical services consulting division and served as the Information Technology lead for the State Court Systems of the various states and territories. For the last three years Jim has served as a consultant working as a Systems Analyst, Strategic planner, Business development specialist and Program Manager. He has a Masters in Educational Technology from Auburn University and a Bachelors in Education, also from Auburn . In 1999, Jim graduated from the National Defense University in Washington , DC . During his tenure there, he also earned certification as a Federal Agency Chief Information Officer (CIO). |
