James Sweeney is a Fargo, North Dakota, native and graduated with a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He joined Weather Modification Inc. in 1992 and serves today as Vice President. Mr. Sweeney is involved in worldwide marketing and operations for Weather Modification Inc. He oversees the organization's 100 plus employees throughout the world.
Prior to joining Weather Modification Inc., Jim worked in the commercial insurance industry in Boston, MA, and Minneapolis, MN, for seven years.
In 1995, Jim co-founded Fargo Jet Center Inc. and is President of the organization. Fargo Jet is a full service aviation service company located at Fargo's Hector International Airport. The company provides aviation fuel sales, air charter, maintenance, avionics and aircraft sales. Fargo Jet Center is also a Cessna Pilot Center and parts dealer.
Mr. Sweeney is active in the Fargo Area Dollars for Scholars, the Marketing Education Advisory Committee of Fargo, Weather Modification Association, National Air Transportation Association and National Business Aviation Association. |
