James Swor has over 25 years of experience in software development and technology management from both ISV and IT perspectives. In his role as Nexiant's Vice President of Software Development, Mr. Swor directs all aspects of software development and maintenance, software technology planning and the management of development operations.
Mr. Swor began his career in 1977 as IT Manager for the City of Lufkin, Texas. He held software engineering positions with a telecommunications company and worked as a systems integrator before he held the position of Vice President of IT for California Recreation Services from 1982 to 1991 managing the company�s technology and accounting services.
As owner of Handmade Systems from 1992 to 1999, Mr. Swor specialized in the design and implementation of product architecture for software vendors. During that time, he spoke frequently to the Orange County development community on the subject of object-oriented design practices.
In 1999, he joined TCI Solutions as Director of Core Technology where his efforts led to the development of technologies that provided TCI with key competitive differentiation and high quality, predictable delivery processes. |
