Jamie S. Gorelick is a partner at the international law firm, WilmerHale, which she joined in 2003. She has held numerous positions in the U.S. government, serving as deputy attorney general, general counsel of the Department of Defense, assistant to the secretary of energy, and most recently as a member of the bipartisan National Commission on Terrorist Threats Upon the United States. She also served as vice chair of Fannie Mae from 1997 to 2003.
She is a member of the boards of Schlumberger, Ltd., the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, and the Urban Institute. Gorelick is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She has been a UTC director since 2000. |
