Jamie Huffman Jones is an associate with the Business and Class Action Litigation Group. Ms. Jones' practice focuses primarily on business and tort litigation and appellate procedure in the defense of class actions, toxic tort litigation, commercial disputes and product liability actions.
Ms. Jones has successfully represented clients in a wide-range of matters, including wrongful death claims, toxic tort claims, product liability claims, class actions and the Arkansas Trade Secrets Act. She has argued before the Arkansas Supreme Court on issues such as the constitutionality of the Arkansas Civil Justice Reform Act.
Ms. Jones has lectured extensively on issues surrounding electronic discovery, including the impact of the December 1, 2006 amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure on the discovery process. Such lectures have been well-received at such venues as the Arkansas Bar Association's Annual Meeting, Mid-Year Meeting, Eighth Circuit Practicum and Best of CLE. Arkansas Business has interviewed Ms. Jones concerning her views on electronic discovery. In addition, Ms. Jones teaches CLE for the Arkansas Bar Association on Arkansas VersusLaw, an online research tool.
Ms. Jones graduated Order of the Coif from the University Of Kansas School Of Law in 2003, where she was Managing Editor of the Kansas Law Review and was awarded the Class Leadership Award. She is an active member of the Junior League of Little Rock and is a committee member for the Autumn Lights Gala, the annual fundraiser for the Arkansas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Ms. Jones' hometown is Rogers, Arkansas.
