Jamie founded Tierra Innovation to meet a need among brands, media and entertainment firms for software that solves consumer problems, rather than simply providing new interactive tools
Jamie's experience working with consumer products companies has taught him that Tierra's clients need help understanding not only what their consumers want, but how customized interactive products and services can meet their consumers' needs. Tierra Innovation's vision flows from this simple premise.
Prior to founding Tierra, Jamie was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Moeo, Inc., a pioneering wireless software development firm acquired in 2002 by ITV technology firm GoldPocket Interactive. GoldPocket Wireless (now Motricity) has subsequently become an industry leader based on the initial Moeo platform.
Jamie has worked in strategic communications and spent seven years as an equity analyst throughout Latin America for Credit Lyonnais Securities and Indosuez Capital. While leading sales and research teams in regional offices in Argentina and Mexico, Jamie and his team were ranked by Institutional Investor and Global Investor magazines for the quality of their research and customer service.
Jamie is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in English, received his MBA from Yale University School of Management, and has studied computer science at Harvard University. |
